Hemochromatosis — Iron overload — A Life Saving Story
In your health pages some time ago I read an article about iron overload. After reading it. I realised what was wong with me.
I ‘d see several doctors, had dozens of blood test and a liver biopsy. All the doctors could say was that I was a heavy drinker and smoker and had hepatitis, and I have never had a drink or a cigarette in my entire life. When I read the article I showed it to my doctor and asked him to do the same tests. These tests found I had hemochromatosis, so I can be treated correctly at
I am really angry about the misdiagnosis but, if it wasn’t for the article in For Me, I probalay wouldn’t know what was wrong with me.
People should know that there is a blood test for this disease. It’s important to know that there is a blood test for this disease.
