What Happened to Neways?
Neways was one of the most respected health and wellness companies in the world, built on a foundation of safe, toxin-free products. In 2006, Neways was sold to Golden Gate Capital, which later rebranded it as Modere around 2015. Modere has since closed down.
However, the founders of Neways – Tom Mower Sr. and Tom Mower Jr. – did not go with the sale. They kept the Mower Mission and used it as the foundation to launch Sisel International in 2006 – the same year Neways was sold.
The Mower Mission – “A Lifelong Commitment to Building Safe Products” – transferred entirely to Sisel. The same product philosophy, the same safety standards, and in many cases the same core formulations, now live on in the Sisel range.
