What toothpaste to stay away from?
What toothpaste to stay away from? Great question. Many toothpastes on the market contain potentially harmful ingredients. The labels even have warnings. Let’s look at two ingredients. If you find these in your toothpaste you should ditch them and switch to a safe recommended brand. All the big name popular brands that I looked at contain these ingredients!!!!
Sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS)
“Originally used to clean floors, sodium lauryl sulfate is a detergent known to cause microscopic tears in the mouth (which can lead to canker sores). It’s an ingredient that makes toothpaste foam; look for glycyrrhizin as a healthier alternative.” May 24, 2017.
“Toothpaste is one of many household products we use daily that contains the antimicrobial chemical triclosan. A recent study suggests that this chemical may aggravate inflammation in the gut and contribute to colon cancer for humans, as it did in mice. “Jun 1, 2018
Here’s another article from Medical News Today. “Toothpaste ingredient is linked to higher rates of cancer“. It goes on to say “Common toothpaste ingredient may promote colon cancer”. Again they were referring to Triclosan.
Two good reasons to make the switch now. Try Sisel”s SupraShine Toothpaste. Scientifically formulated to be very effective and super safe with no harmful toxins. Watch the short video below.
