How does the AGE Pill Work?
You might we wondering how the AGE Pill works? This short 7-minute video explains what happens when we age and how the AGE Pill works. Part of aging is the body creates lipofuscin and glycation. These waste products are created as we age, but there is something you can do about it.
NAD levels reduce as we age. NAD stands for nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide. It is found in all cells and is essential to living. How does this affect your energy levels?
Watch this video with Tom Mower and find out how the age pill works and how it can help you.
AGE is accumulated damage and cellular waste
Aging is just damage accumulation. The natural repair mechanisms fail and as we age the damage cannot be fixed.
As time passes self-cleansing of cells becomes weaker and not all the waste material in cells can be disposed of. It’s no wonder we lack energy! As we age we don’t function as well as we did in our younger years. This, in part, has a lot to do with internal waste.
Much of this material is composed of lipofuscin and advanced glycation end products, the toxic waste of aging.
Lipofuscin cannot be broken down by the natural process. It continues to accumulate with age. Have you ever noticed brown spots also referred to a liver spots on the back of your hands or someone older. These spots are made up of lipofuscin.
Lipofuscin is the name given to fine yellow-brown pigment granules composed of lipid-containing residues of lysosomal digestion. It is considered to be one of the aging or “wear-and-tear” pigments, found in the liver, kidney, heart muscle, retina, adrenals, nerve cells, and ganglion cells. Ref.
AGEs (Advanced Glycation End Products)
Another garbage problem is AGEs, or advanced glycation end-products. The AGE Pill stands for Anti Glycation Extreme. A.G.E. Pill.
Cells have trouble breaking AGEs down and they contribute to more garbage adding to the problem. They are formed by a reaction of sugars with proteins. As we age more of it accumulates. The body cannot get rid of it by itself. They occur in everyone but are higher in diabetic patients and pre-diabetic patients. In other words people with high blood sugar. If you eat lots of sugary foods your levels of glycation will also be higher.
Cellular energy (ATP) production declines as we age
Mitochondria are the powerhouse of cells, this is were most the fuel burning takes place. Mitochondria are critical in aging. As we get older these get worn out and don’t function well.
The older we get the more poorly functioning cells we have, due to the reasons previously mentioned. Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD(+)) plays an important role with mitochondria to produce ATP. Put simply, energy production diminishes with age and further contributes to aging process. This means that Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) production reduces and therefore cellular energy diminishes. Ref
How the AGE Pill works
The AGE Pill addresses the following by supporting the body to:
- Remove glycation
- Remove lipofuscin
- Boost the levels of NAD (cellular energy)
